It is a play in five acts.
Grammar Gurton’s Needle(1575) – Written by unknown writer
Tragedy:   Ferrex and Porrex Better known as Garboduc (1562)
                   Written by Thomas Norton and Thomas Sachville
First time Blank verse was used for dramatic purpose.
It is the first English tragedy and direct forerunner of Kyd’s Spanish Tragedy .
